{"id":1092,"date":"2006-03-02T02:51:00","date_gmt":"2006-03-02T09:51:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/generoseberry.com\/?p=1092"},"modified":"2006-03-02T02:51:00","modified_gmt":"2006-03-02T09:51:00","slug":"london","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/generoseberry.com\/?p=1092","title":{"rendered":"London"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">1-15-06<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Travel Day<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"\">            <\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"\">            <\/span>Not much has happened today.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>We traveled from <st1:city st=\"on\">London<\/st1:City> to <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Stratford<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> via \u201ccoach\u201d.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Stopped at <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Oxford<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>.<span style=\"\">  <\/span><st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Oxford<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> was kinda fun to wander around in.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>We were hunting Dungeons and Dragons stuff, but our search uncovered only a closed gaming store.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Perhaps here in <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Stratford<\/st1:City><\/st1:place>.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"\">            <\/span>The English country side was observed on the trip.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>In some ways I find it very similar to parts of <st1:place st=\"on\">Central Washington<\/st1:place>.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>As we progressed though it became more foreign.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The architecture is the most strikingly different.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Castles are a dead give away, that and the thatched roofs.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>At one point on our journey we drove parallel to a stone wall.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>I think it had a very many stones in it\u2019s construction.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Not impressive to look at, but impressive if you think about it.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>At least for me.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"\">            <\/span>Saw Shakespeare\u2019s grave.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>The church was pretty neat.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Modest compared to some of those <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">London<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> churches, but still very snazzy.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\"><span style=\"\">            <\/span>Looking forward to the all you can eat food offered by this hotel.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Not looking forward to the complaints of the others which I view as nearly inevitable.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>They\u2019re not too bad though.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Worse would be if I\u2019m disappointed.<span style=\"\">  <\/span>Let\u2019s hope not.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1-15-06 Travel Day Not much has happened today.
