I’ve been busy. I had a bunch of classes to go to for one thing. And I spend a lot of time cooking, shopping, and cleaning now that I’m off the meal plan. I also was organizing the first LRPC meeting, switching physics classes (so that I’m in the physics major class, even though I’m not a physics major) and figuring out my independent research project. Not very much time to let you all know what’s going on. I don’t remember all the interesting things I was going to post, so now you’ll just get a long string of boring. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n
Hmm… I dun remember how far back to go. Whatever. My parents came yesterday with a carload of stuff for me. So now I have a printer, and clothes, and a mountain of food, and a lamp, and a chair and various other things. Like all my video games. \/grin We ate Thai w\/ 8 and such. Dad’s getting sick apparently.<\/p>\n
The first LRPC meeting was pretty successful I think. We had the crowd of friends I’m always hanging out with, plus around 14 freshman. After the introductions and little announcements Dimitri and I ran an intro D&D course for 8 or so learners. Bunch of other people played Magic. I think most of them will come back. Good good. Dimitri and I are supposed to continue our teachings, but I left it up to him to set it up, and he’s done nothing even though we have a three day weekend and less homework than we’ll have the rest of the year. I dunno what his deal is. \ud83d\ude1b Probably getting drunk w\/ his new roomies all the time.<\/p>\n
I’ve got some reading to do, so I guess I’ll do that. I’ve been keeping up pretty well though. Things are going to start picking up soon though. \ud83d\ude1b Not exactly looking forward to that. My classes seem like they’ll be pretty cool though.<\/p>\n
That’s another thing we did when my parents were here yesterday, bought me a yoga shirt. I needed something that wasn’t 9 sizes too big for me, like I normally wear, so that when I’m standing on my head and such my shirt won’t fall down over my head and be annoying. We found these spandex shirt things, and 8 made me try one on. Man they’re gay. I’m not one to use that as a general negative like some, but specifically, spandex shirts look as though they are designed for homosexuals. You could see my nipples. We found a different more normal shirt that should work. 8 liked the spandex though. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n
Today 8’s friend from high school is supposed to visit, but she’s already 2 hours late so who knows. Also, my guild mate might come down. He’s in Portland apparently hanging with a third separate guild mate. For those of you who don’t know, I’m in an online guild. The guild is for MMORPG’s mostly. We play together in those and we have a website with forums and stuff so we can talk out of game and such. I’ve been pretty active for around 3 years, and technically in it for like 6. The guild has been around since the good old UO days. So this Canadian guildy might show up sometime, kinda looking unlikely though.<\/p>\n
I also made juice. 8 has this juicer thing, so I made carrot apple ginger juice. It tastes like goodness. Juiced 2 pounds of carrots, 9 apples, and about 2 cubic inches of ginger if you want the recipe. Makes a pitcher.<\/p>\n
