I don’t think 8 puts enough of her personal life online

At least not in this blog. She’s got all the interesting stories she doesn’t tell you. I tell you if anything interesting happens to me.

At work today I helped out a grad student working under Dr. Felsot. Basically did the same thing I did last week over again. I got all the easy jobs. I had plenty of time to listen to podcasts and find amusing YouTube videos.

Tomorrow before work I get the dentist appointment treat.

The next day (instead of Thursday as previously thought) we’re heading south for the infamous Oregon Shakespeare Festival trip. We’re staying the first night in McMinnville to drop off Kait. The next day we go down to Roseburg probably. Then we finally make it to Ashland on Friday and watch plays until Monday morning when we drive back up here.

During my long weekend I started working on a database of important figures and places in my D&D campaign I’m running online. It’s become quite extensive, which is for the best. It’ll allow for a better experience later. I’ve set it up as a web page, which I don’t intend to host, but the links are convenient and all. Does anyone know how to make it so they stay blue all the time? I know it’s possible, but I don’t wanna fiddle to much, and, so far anyway, I’m not motivated enough to research it. I did figure out how to do combo links though. 😛

Andrew and Steve have both returned from their long absences, along with Pat from his short one. The rest of my summer is pretty busy though. After the Ashland trip I have 8 days to study for my GRE. And after the GRE I’ve got only 3 or 4 days to worry about work and PAX and moving back to school and what classes I’m going to take and grad school and if I can get credit for my work. And then most of my brain power will have to be spent on molecular cell biology and such.

According to Google it just started raining here. It’s been lightninging and thundering for a while now.

I’ve got a small rant/thought brewing I might post sometime. Also, cheers to the bloke or dame that found this blog by searching for “I like to singa”. I still have that episode. Comment or something, I’ll e-mail it to you. 🙂

Wee

I know everyone’s seen this by now, but I’m bored at work, and they do do about everything you can with treadmills. And look at the guy with the pink shirt.

I’ve been using this internet backup service called Mozy. I tested it out and it works I think. I’ve not had to actually retrieve anything but it does say it’s backing up automatically. It will automatically find the file types people usually want to back up. If you sign up I get more space. 😉

I was going to write more, but we’re leaving to Andrew’s for now.

@ 3 am

<-- Remember this? Aaron and I take it very seriously. There are many more pictures, but I decided not to flood the blog with them. This is a glimpse of what I usually mean when I say nothing much happened, or "chilled out".

I bought the book Five Nations today for the club. I owed it like $26. This was a little more expensive, but I’m nice like that. I haven’t read it yet, but Aaron went through and told me some stuff, and it seems really cool.

Martha bought a fancy expensive bike. I rode it some. It goes pretty fast.

Other than that I just chilled out w/ Donny and Aaron and Jill and 8 all day. I didn’t get any of that work done. I was going to work on it but then I didn’t.

Mom put up some pictures that are worth referencing… at least I think so. That big guy is Little Steven, my cousin. There’s also the birthday cake 8 and Donny and I made for mom, picture of my sister with grandma, and us eating dinner w/ my aunt. Then there’s a picture of my mom’s friend’s baby blanket she made for her daughter in law, but you don’t have to look at that one if you don’t want.

Guess what day it is?

Pax badge day!

It was also Zombie Tournament day. That’s where eleven friends get together and play Zombies. It’s been Aaron’s dream for like 2 years. It actually got played to the end this time, and only Pat left early. It’s kinda slow game. I thought it was pretty cool, even though I had victory snatched from me by Carlson. I don’t have any pictures from my camera, but plenty were taken. Maybe some will come into my possession and be blog worthy.

Today also brought work news. Crazy huh? I don’t have to work tomorrow or the next day, do to an absence of a boss and a lack of work to do by myself. I also filled out the tax stuff so I can officially get paid. I also received an e-mail from my school advisor that says I can retroactively get bio credit for my internship probably. I had previously learned that this was not possible, which shows me that those people that work at colleges that aren’t professors really don’t know anything.

At work today I just did Excel worksheet stuff. I learned a bit of statistics stuff in Excel, which is useful and cool. I’m sure it will make more sense after I take statistics next semester. I hope anyway. I’ll learn it somewhere along the way. I sent myself some work so I can do it on my days off. Cool huh?

Watch Korgoth. There are 3 parts, so don’t stop at one. They should all be easy to find from the first part. It’s a pilot.

1250th post

So, we went to Seattle. Here is some photographic evidence. We stayed at my grandmother’s house. We went to a lot of restaurants, and we saw the Lewis’s, and we picked up my sister. There are no photos of her. She was sick during 3 of these pictures. She doesn’t react well to bee pollen, I guess. We also found Mike, also not pictured here. That was random and cool. I’m hoping 8 will post some pictures of him and other things we did… she has them. I don’t take many pictures because I want to be in all of them.
