383 rye plants fell in my wake today. I have max ranks in spot and +10 to rye as my favored enemy, so they don’t stand a chance.

Roguing today was delayed due to rain. It was good conditions when we were out there mostly. The rain kept dust and pollen to a minimum, temperature was optimal, and a slight breeze made finding the rye easier. Before we finished though we got hailed and rained on. There was thunder right above us, it was very loud and cool. Nobody got struck by lightning. My socks and shoes did get all wet and muddy though.

I’ve been looking at the HDI rankings of the world… like you do, and US is 10th. That’s pretty good… but Norway is #1. Congrats Norway. Now I’m going to try and figure out how they actually calculate this stuff.

Edit on Sunday: I killed 433 rye today. Take that rye! Nothing else is going down. The way they calculate that HDI is really simple though. 😛

I made it. Pat had to be to Eastern at like 6 so we had to leave in a hurry but I’m pretty sure I didn’t forget anything. Hopefully I did enough on the CS final to keep an A… although I don’t really know for sure that I had an A going into it since they never return anything. tsk tsk. Whatever.

I haven’t yet blogged about this awesome incedent involving my schedule next year. They’ve kicked my out of one my classes because there were too many people in it. Normally that wouldn’t matter, except that they signed me, so I was in it, and then they kicked me out during finals week. This resulted in me being under the minimum credits which meant my scholarship was at risk. Luckily I fixed that by just signing up for some chump class which I will drop when I get back in the fall, hopefully after having hatched a plan to do something constructive. The worst thing of course is that I’m a senior and I don’t get to take the classes in my major that I want. Awesome.

I’ve got plenty of other things to focus on besides that for now. I’ve got grad schools to research and D&D and DM and video games to play. Plus I’m tired and hungry, so I have to focus that. I also am going to be rogueing tomorrow and possible several days in the future. Busy me.

I caught up reading my comics. 8-bit theater made me laugh really hard in one. Black Mage.

One final down two to go. This one was the hardest… at least in terms of study. It wasn’t math or computer science is why. 😛 Cumulative stuff makes studying hard. I think I did pretty well though. It’s possible I did well enough to bump me up to an A. I was at 89.5%. I definitely did well enough that my grade won’t drop.

My awesome biology department is trying to kick me out of one of my classes. Actually, they’ve succeeded, but I’m still in denial. If I convince them to take me back it’ll be good. If I fail I’ll post a post about my awesome experiences. 😛

Pat is coming down tomorrow. That will be fun. Almost summer yo.

Gotta eat. Then more calculus study. Must prepare before Pat gets here.

Our CS professor didn’t show up for the last day of class either. Kinda sucks. I dunno how to do the assignment. Oh well.

I have not much left to do. 3 finals… one pre-final study/class thing, and studying.

I love Modern Marvels.

Saw Serenity again yesterday. It was shown for free. It was awesome. All who haven’t seen it… buy it.

My CS professor just didn’t show up for work today apparently. That’s cool. Not like it’s the second to last lecture and he just gave us an assignment with very little details that’s due tomorrow. 🙁 It’s not really strictly due tomorrow. Don’t worry. I r just complaining for fun.

My calc class was cancelled today because my professor was sick.

The girl from my home town that goes here is dating my freshman biology lab partner.

Random girl from my calculus class is secretly dating a guy that went to high school w/ 8.

I’ve been using Google Reader for a while now. It let’s me see things faster… waste time more efficiently. Anyway, I just put a little thing on the blog, it’s down there under all the pictures of 8 and I, that will let you see the things I’ve deemed cool most recently. I haven’t deemed anything to be cool yet, but just you wait. Just forewarning it’ll probably most be Daily Show and the Colbert Report. 😛

Also, I got the care package mother. Thx a bunch. I think I’ll still have to buy food before the school year is over, but this will allow me to procrastinate a little longer.

It’s not deep but it pretends to be, it’s not pretty, it uses inproper grammer in order to rhyme… that’s poetry. What do you want, I’m a bio major.

I got two tests back in the last two days. I did well on both. Could have done better obviously, but I think they both are A’s, so not much better. One cog neuro, the other cs.

There is what could be the last game night happening tonight. I’m hoping the LRPC can do some finals week get together thing, but figuring out times for such things is difficult. I’ll make a stab at it at least.

This Saturday the college is showing Serenity for free. I must go. Weee… I’ve had a bit of a Serenity dry spell. It’ll be good to see the movie again.

Tomorrow I have to go to some club leader meeting thing, which is ruining my regularly scheduled Wednesday D&D… so I will scowl a lot tomorrow. 😛 Mostly at ASLC cabinet members who are innocent.

Pat is attempting to be the honored one who picks me up to take me home from college. He might come down a few days early and hang out. It would be cool. He has to ask him mommy first though… so we’ll see.

Ladies…. if you’re looking for a sensitive husband that won’t rape you and give you aids I’d suggest avoiding the south of Ethiopia.

I’m going to do a Gene style review of the next gen consoles post sometime. Depending on how board I am it may actually be pretty good. 😛

Today was the first ever Linfield Geek Games. LRPC had two complete teams, with club members in 5 teams out of the 10 teams present, w/ 10 members total accounted for. Only 7 though really count. Anyway, my team was 3rd, one point behind 2nd, which was one point behind first… so it was close. We get second on the trivia… because we were asked how many noggin’s in a pint… we got 2nd in the Dunk Hunt event, because John’s a good shot… we got no points in the DDR because Keston didn’t take a fall… and we got no points in the airplane thing… because we suck.

The other team one first in the DDR, because Keston wouldn’t take a fall… and did pretty well in the airplane thing too. They shoulda gotten ballistics… which is the trivia answer that took them out first round.

The competition was pretty harsh. Everything was single chance or single elimination. I wish we had won… it is sad that we did not. I would have won a cool LED name tag. How I would have used it.

I also saw the infamous Macbeth that 8’s been working at for a couple weeks now. I found it pretty boring and very dusty… but it wasn’t all bad. I didn’t think of the acting was overtly bad… just nothing was really any good either. What can you expect? And I got in free cause of my girl.

The CS test that was supposed to be today is now Monday. I have a paper due next Friday. Other than that I just have a bit of calc homework and a bunch of reading to do… and then finals. Three cumulative finals… yippee.

Sounds like I’m going to get a bit of D&D, of what sort is unclear, tomorrow, while 8 is working. Though break for her… but she wouldn’t have had time to play anyway. She has much more homework than I.
