Got home yesterday. Had some friends come over. Steve, Aaron, Cain, Pat and I played Pirates. It’s a constructible collectible card game. It’s designed for 7 year olds, but Aaron and Cain have modified the rules so it’s a little more complex. I won. Kinda a bizarre win though. It was fun.

Aaron made me watch the series of R Kelly music videos that tell a story or whatever. Man… that is scary stuff. I do not understand how that is allowed to be put on DVD. I won’t dwell.

Had Thanksgiving dinner not to long ago. Just Dad, Mom and I. Good food. It’s 12 degree’s where my sister is.

Hope Thanksgiving is working out for all you guys.

I’ve been busy. 3 tests in the last two days. Bunch of assignments due. Playing Double Dash. And I’ve been trying to get quality time in w/ 8 because we’re leaving each other for Thanksgiving break. I’m leaving in about an hour probably.

I’m in comp sci. He’s going over our tests. I got the second highest grade apparently. I missed 4 stupid multiple choice questions. I should have gotten a perfect score. Not a real issue though.

Double Dash is a fun game. I’ve been enjoying co-op much on my recent rediscovery of the game.

My parents are in town. They took 8 and I out to dinner last night. The thai place gave me coconut ice cream cause it was my birthday and all. 8 made me cakes. I ate almost a whole one myself.

Looking forward to the break. It’s not very long, but I’ll get to see the people at home. It’s unfortunate that I have some much homework. Next break will be all free of homework. 🙂

8’s getting a new computer from Dell. Apparently she told the service rep some things that led them to believe they were lucky she wasn’t sueing, and they should pacify her by giving her a new computer. 🙂 She still has the problem of not being able to get her novella off her hard drive, but hopefully she’ll be able to solve that soon.

Anyway, going to be home next time I post.

I got three birthday cards in the mail today. This (along w/ 8) reminded me that my birthday (21st) is on Tuesday. I have two tests that day, and one on Monday. On the plus side Thanksgiving break starts the next day. My parents are going to be in town I just learned. Cool and such.

We saw a play. Called Woesek or something like that. It was about a crazy guy who kills his cheating girlfriend. It was not so bad. We had good seats.

I’m sleepy. Nobody else blogs anymore.

I’ve been brushing my teeth every night for the longest solid time block I can remember, and last night a piece of my tooth came off when I was brushing. Now I’m all deformed, and 8 doesn’t love me. I’m all pointy, needly, and disgusting , as Lister would say. I hate dentists. They’re going to put some stupid crap in there now and I’ll be even more deformed. I tried to take a picture to show, but my teeth are very reflective and it didn’t work.

Much work I must do.

There’s a deaf kid in my computer science class. He has two signers and a note taker here every day. He shows up once or twice a week. The class only has 10 people in it. /shakes head

I got a “you’re almost 21” letter from the college. It gave me a lot of advice about not drinking myself to death on my birthday. I think they are silly. 8 is so mad she’s going to try to cause as much damage to the school as she can in her drunken rage before she gives into the poisoning and drops.

I’m in the library right now kinda just dinking around. 8 has to do something on a computer, and her’s is broken, and we were here so she might as well. I have work I could be doing, but nothing crucial, and I’m tired. 😛

Yesterday was our anniversary, as stated before. 8 made me dinner and baklava. Both were good. I’ve had 5 pieces of the baklava so far. 8 keeps letting other people eat it though… that’s kinda too bad. It was a pretty good anniversary I think. Course, doesn’t matter so much what I think as what she thinks. Maybe she’ll let you all know if it was a good anniversary or not later.

I did the weeks worth of comp sci today while he was talking at us today about how we have to plan out our programs. 😛 I had a little help at the end finding a math error I had made from Keston. I woulda found it tomorrow though I’m pretty sure. It was giving interesting answers. The program finds primes and lists factors. For the samples I gave it made it so it always missed the factor that was one smaller than the biggest. If I would have done different samples I woulda seen that that was just a coincidence and been able to move on. 🙂 I just thought it was cool.

We played D&D again last weekend. It was fun. I’m pretty close to leveling again. Weee! I have a 4 page backstory for the character. 🙂 In other recreation news I have played a bit of the campaign of Dawn of War. Just the first 3 missions. So far they have been way easier than battling Keston and Mike. 🙂 It’s a fun game though. I wish I had more time to play. I’ve got to get some internship applications going though so I don’t have to request all of my letters of recommendation while I’m on London. I doubt that would work much at all.

Rambly. I was 3 minutes late for physics this morning. I remember that alarm going off this time, I just fell asleep again. I woke up 2 minutes before class started. 🙂

I’m going to eat some pickles when we get home I think.

I got an A on my the retaken physics test. A low A, but I’ll take it. I coulda gotten like 99% if I had only remembered one stupid thing. oh well.

In other physics news, the other physics class, those for non majors (I’m not a physics major, I’m just taking the majors class cause it’s harder) had an uprising. Not really. The students have been complaining since the beginning of the year, and it worked. Their professor got fired from teaching their class, and was replaced two days ago. Apparently there was dancing and crying in the streets for some of them. I’m pretty impressed that they actually got a result, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such compelling evidence for the whole “you can make a difference” cliche.

I totally pwned the most recent comp sci assignment.

Weekend yo. I don’t get to celebrate until I get some research done, but that’ll be easy and fun(ish). Yay!

8’s leaving me however. Only for tonight I guess, and tomorrow night though not as much. Tonight she’s going to Portland to hang out with some friends, and tomorrow she’s planning on going to a Frat party. Technically I could accompany her… but I’d rather wedge an ice pick into my toenail. I need to cut my toenails. I need to cut my beard too… mustache is getting into my mouth. Maybe I’ll just cut the whole thing off over Thanksgiving break.
