Well, lets see if I can remember any of the things I was going to post. Hmm de hmm hmm hmm.

1. I’ve noticed I’m moving more and more towards becoming the absent minded professor. I start off walking somewhere and I’ll be thinking about the age of the universe or something and the next thing I know I’ve walked through a door and spend a few seconds figuring out where I am and why I’m there and where I was going. It’s swell. Not very conducive to my assassins game either. Half the time I’ve completely forgotten I’m in a game at all and don’t look for my target or look out for my assassin.

By tomorrow morning I will have all of Daria. gotta love torrents. I dunno why they don’t put that stuff out on DVD. They’re sitting on money. I could never find it before but now that I did I got it all at like 180 kbps on average. 🙂 Even the files I didn’t think were going to work I figured out. Grandness.

Check out nerdtv. It’s an interview show set up by PBS. I think you can only get it on the internet. Just search, you’ll find it. If you’re not that nerdy they have condensed versions and stuff. I think it’s cool.

I haven’t really been thinking much about you bloggers lately. I’ve been reading your blogs, but not looking at the world for things to write to you about. 😛 That’s part of why I haven’t been updating much I suppose.

I’m in a game of Assassins at the moment. I survived day one, but did not make a kill. My first target dropped out though, which made it kinda harder. Dimitri is dead, along with like 7 other people. 😛 It’s going to be a pretty short game I think.

Someone posted a comment way back on that link I had to the models being touched up. He/she says that that artist along w/ all the other touch up people work on any race and just do what their bosses tell them. Sounded kinda offended at me for not knowing the ins and outs of the model touch up business. /shrug Anyway, in case you were curious, I doubt many of you will be looking back that far for new comments.

I’m working on showing a Firefly marathon soon on campus for the LRPC. It’s troubling though. As in, causing trouble. It’ll take around 12 hours, which makes it more complicated than my previous events. I can’t rent anything at the school for that long, and people will probably demand food in that amount of time. I can go for 12 hours w/o eating and w/o noticing I haven’t been eating, but you normal mortals have some obsession with food. So anyway, I think we’re going to have to do it as some apartment somewhere, which means giving directions, and means finding a TV big enough, and having to actually clean up afterwards, and worrying about too many people showing up, and worrying about them making a mess. 😛 Plus we have a time limit sorta cause we want to get it shown before Serenity is released. And then we have to do it in some 12 hour block where there probably won’t be anything better to do for most people interested. 😛

Anyway, the point is, watch Firefly, and see Serenity. Serenity will be in a theater near you September 30th. Unless you live in Australia in which case it’s the 29th. Or various European countries where it’s later. 😛 WATCH IT!!!

My professor is late again. Science profs, never late, other profs, almost always late. /shakes head

Aftenposten Norway, Norwegian news in English: “The US has asked Norway for forensic assistance in identifying victims of Hurricane Katrina. Norway is known for its expertise in the area, and also had a team of workers in Thailand after the tsunami.”

This is pretty ridiculous. Cool though.

Walking around the biology department of a college and telling random people in such a way that they can’t respond easily and aren’t sure you’re talking them, “Remember, evolution is just a theory.” Alternatively you can say it whenever someone say something incredibly stupid. For those of you in the southern U.S., this game should be even more exciting. Here it’s pretty much just humorous.

Ren Faire tomorrow looks like. Waking up early and everything. Consequentially, I should sleep.

High heels are the devil. If you wear them, they mess up ur spine, if u are near people wearing them, it sounds like ur being followed by a horse on hind legs. I am anti high heels.

I got to play with liquid Nitrogen, and in this case when I say play I mean literally. First we worked w/ it to extract some DNA, but then we had left over and I got to mess around with it. It’s cold stuff. I think I burnt my thumb. The light bulb I stuck in there didn’t explode. I didn’t get in any trouble, the security around here is too lax apparently. 😛

8 was chatting, as in IMing, w/ Matt when I got to her place today. Matt! The bald blogger dude who comments all the time. /shakes head I’m going to find his gf and start chatting w/ her. I’m considering med school kinda, we’d have ton’s to talk about. 😛
