Regarding Bullsh!t just talked about at the bottom of my last post, there are two frequent guests. They are, James Randi (noted skeptic who I’ve mentioned before) and Ron Jeremy (noted male porn actor, who I’ve never mentioned). I’m not lying. Anyway, I thought it was funny. 😛
Yesterday my mother saw me on the Linfield webcam. She’s been asking me to stop and wave when I pass it for a while now, and since I’m not too much of a momma’s boy, and I have better things to do, I haven’t. Regardless she was looking at the cam during the time I was walking by, and I happened to appear in frame during the 30 seconds that it was taking a picture. So everyone feel happy that my mom kinda got her wish.
Also, there should have been video of me brushing my teeth last night. I managed to get the toothpaste on the brush fine, but in about 2 or 3 brushes managed to get the bulk of the toothpaste to fall out of my mouth. I caught it in the palm of my hand and then sucked it back in my mouth to finish brushing. I think it was quite a display of incompetence. I’m pretty much a functioning person too… which is why it’s sorta special. I’m like, at my peak, and I can’t even keep inanimate things I put in my mouth there. /shakes head
Guess I should listen to my professor now.
Oh, and I watched nearly a whole season of Penn and Teller’s Bullsh!t yesterday w/ 8. It was good.
This is especially awesome for those of you that have phones. Not me. 😛
All the frats on campus simultaneously dropped their average GPA below the limits the college sets, so none of them can do rush this semester. /grin Stupid frats.
There’s a girl in my physics class that always looks like she’s sneering. This other girl was teaching the Asian how to do one homework problem wrong. Keston didn’t do his web homework yesterday for that class. It’s 2% of our grade! I’m going to start drawing dungeons in that class.
I forgot the intelligent thing I was going to post.
He wrote this book called Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You To Know About. It’s total crap. I just got done writing my congressman asking for legislation to keep books like this from being sold in the same place medicine sold. I mean, free speech and all, but selling this crap at a pharmacy lends credibility and that’s just irresponsible.
Walgreen’s has pulled the book thanks to the work of James Randi. Inspired I wrote Costco. I respect Costco, so I’m hoping they’ll pull it too.
I’m like, active and such. Not having homework makes politics way more important. Hmm… maybe there’s a reason idiots keep getting elected. Everyone with real work to do doesn’t have time to care. 😛
There’s a book here. The Nazi War on Cancer. 8’s working. I’m not doing anything. Those physics problems are being difficult to find. Like, I dunno where they are in the book. I e-mailed Keston and the prof, but no response so far. 😛
Well, I screwed up. See… I thought I had vertebrate physiology lab today. I actually didn’t. I normally would have physics lab today, but physics is a 100 level class and therefore lame and hasn’t got labs up and running yet. So I left yoga early and headed to my vertebrate physiology lab. I could have stayed at yoga, and also not shown up at vert phys lab an hour late or a day early, depending on how you look at it. So I kinda look the fool. A couple good things did come out of it. I got to leave yoga, which is a class, and therefore it is a good thing to leave if possible. I was kinda enjoying yoga though. The teacher said she likes my hair, and that I have “very nice” posture in downward facing dog. I think she just thinks I’m cute as the dickens, which is good, since I’m only attending 75% of the class and attendance is the only thing that matters and I still expect an A. Other good thing that came out of it, is I now know how long it will take to get out of yoga, get changed, and get across campus, so I can leave at the perfect time from yoga next week. I also learned that vertebrate physiology is at 1, instead of 2, like I would have supposed since every other lab starts at 2. So now I won’t be late tomorrow.
In other, non-doh related news, the computers in the computer lab no longer accept my login name for some unknown reason, and my DAT files for the virus scan program I’m required to run by the school network people from hell won’t update, so I can’t get on the school network. Thankfully the school was too cheap to buy Kait internet, so she’s off the network and I can get on through her. 😛 I’m hopefully going to have all these problems fixed soon.
Weirdly enough, I’m done with my homework today already. Pretty much, I have like 2 physics problems of the easy. Not enough homework is new for me at school.
