I swam. Played some WoW a bit. I dropped my pedometer into the pool, and I’m pretty sure it’s not working anymore. Still tells time, but not counting steps. Anyway, it’s all ironical and such because tomorrow we’re headed out to go backpacking, which was the reason I was interested in pedometers in the first place. 😛 We’re driving down to 8’s neck of the woods and then taking her to Mt. Jefferson and walking around for a couple days. Just a little hike I guess. I’ll prolly have to carry everything. 😛

Pat, Brittany, and I played Monopoly. Pat got hotels on Boardwalk and Park Place and it was brutal. I got dead first. 😛 Mostly bad luck I think though. My financial schemes were sound. We also went to Starbucks to meet a friend of Brittany’s. I ate honey packets.

Anyway, away from internet I will be until Sunday sometime I think. You’ll survive. So will I.

Does anyone know if it’s an ill omen when there are multiple types of noodle deformations in your ramen cup?

In conclusion, I never sleep.

In summation, I like WoW. Pat and I are level 17. 8 and I are level 9, although she’s thinking of getting hew own account, so that would mean her making a new character.

I end my post by saying that I watched the first to episodes of Carnivale. I’m borrowing it from some friends of mine. I don’t really know what’s going on yet, but it seems like it could be interesting. I don’t think it is as good as Firefly though.

I’ll close by saying I also read a bunch of UserFriendly even though I have a perfectly good book I should be reading. Those of you who visit the link however, will realize that most books are shorter than this comic. Besides, books are heavy. Comics are on the computer.

And finally I’ll inform my adoring public that I got 2nd in a poker tournament today which means I am officially no longer in debt to Pat. Assuming I pay him back now and don’t just gamble it away. 😛

And the grand finale, Happy 4th of July!

Pat, Brittany, and I went and saw War of the Worlds last night. It was pretty good. They spent a trillion dollars making it look pretty, which is fun. There are some things that bugged me a little, but what are you gonna do? And the ending sux. That’s about that.

After that I just stayed awake until like 5 in the morning. More not sleeping for me. 😛

Gonna return to my house sometime today. Gotta call about jury duty and check in with my parents, make sure they haven’t decided to do anything big and forget to tell me. 😛

Last night Aaron was around talking all night so I didn’t sleep. He left around 6 in the morning and by then Pat and I had our 3rd or 4th winds so we ended up play WoW until like noon. Then Brittany invited us to lunch. After that I passed out for about 3 hours. Yeah, so I guess I’ll be pretty much on schedule for sleeping again.

WoW is very much fun. I got to play some w/ 8 yesterday, and that was fun too. 🙂 She’s a cute little gnome.

I was unfortunate enough to be in the room when Real World was on. I’d like to say that people are dumb, and that show is horrible. However, one of the Real World guys got punched in the face and had his cheek bone broken, so that sorta made me feel better.

Aaron was reading the blog in a monotone last night. It’s pretty funny, but it kinda makes my life seem boring. 😛

Ok. I woke up at Pat’s in a stupor, because that’s how I usually wake up. After finishing my stupor I watched Pat play some WoW and lost a poker tournament with ease. All of this is pretty normal, but then things started happening that don’t normally.

First, I got out of bed. Weird huh? Then we moved the mattress and the other mattress and all the stuffed animals and took the plywood outside. Lot’s of moving huh? So then I helped Pat (by helped I sorta didn’t do much but hold down the wood, but whatever) cut the plywood to the proper size. The mattress and bedframe are apparently being given to Brittany, and she deserves the best. We managed to make the plywood the right size and put the bed back together to prove it. What handy men are we.

Then Pat and I went to run errands. Didn’t know we had them, but today we did. We took back some rented videos and bought some hooks to hold up the cable connecting us to the internet out here in the guest house. I also picked up WoW because Pat tricked me. He didn’t, he just rather forcefully persuaded. Anyway, now I have a lvl 9 dwarven priest named Genesys on Ner’Zhul if anyone is interested.

Brittany came over and we swam. Pat and I swam, Brittany just oggled us. Pat and I both did 20 laps, which I’m satisfied with. I have been having trouble with the pool water. I used to be immune, but I’m becoming a sensitive college boy I guess. We also broke a projectile toy while we were there.

Then we watched all watched a couple episodes of the 4400 because we all happen to like it. We ate some of the cookies Brittany made for us for successfully doing something useful. They’re good.

Oh yeah, before that we had taco salad, it was pretty good. And Hannah kindly used the remote control to inform me that Mandy Moore is the 43rd hottest hotty. 😛

Then came the part of the day where Pat and I played WoW until now. So, now you know, as Bill Nye would say.

was ok. I mean, it was pretty dumb in a lot of ways, but a lot of people died, and I like that in a movie.

Celebrities can’t play poker. Watching them play is stupid. Don’t do it. 😛 Sleepy.

I’m going to post about the honest truth. Poker.

I’ve been playing a lot of online poker. I would be rich/poor, but I only play 1 tournament/sit and go at a time and only for $1. So, as it is, I’m only up a little, and not in debt. Hooray. I just thought everyone should know. The great thing about poker though is that I do it while I’m doing other things.

I’ve read several chapters of Ender’s Shadow. I am liking Bean even better than Ender. He’s less emotional, and more badass. They’re both awesome and all, but right now I’m reading Bean, so he’s got an edge. Anyway, so that’s one thing other than poker I’ve done. Read the book. Read people.

Watched an episode of Jeeves and Wooster, the BBC version that is actually funny. I’ve already seen the episode though, I’ve seen them all I think, so that a negative. Watch them people. It’s worth the download time, or $, whichever.

Drove around with Pat, had many insights I’ve since forgotten or deemed inappropriate for general consumption. Aaron and Donny came over and ate some of my fruit snacks.

Now I am at Pat’s and we are going to try again to watch Assault on Precinct 13. I’ll tell you how it goes.

Running out of games.

Just going to run through my day since my last post.

Went to the barbecue. That was pretty uneventful really. I met a guy who is going to Caroll, Carrol, Carroll, I dunno. College in Helena, Montana. I have a friend that goes there. Pat apparently knows, like, 15 people there. This new guy I met is also roommates with a guy that was on my science bowl team Junior year. Small world and such.

Also of note was the starting of the bbq. The igniter was apparently not functioning so the final solution was to stick a match in through a hole in the side of the bbq after letting gas build up inside with the lid closed for a while. I had nothing to do with it, but I was the only witness besides the match holder. The flames went out about 2 ft. horizontally out from the bbq. The guy was fine though. *shakes head*

On the way home we found Brittany (that’s Pat’s gf for those who don’t know). We also passed a guy who looked like he had a dog on fire. He was holding the dog and his cigarette in the same hand. Anyway, Brittany was supposed to be supervising a church water balloon fight. She explained however only one person had shown up, and that was her cousin. She was pretty pissed off because she had gotten calls from 3 parents that were upset that they had missed it because they had thought it was Sunday and actually it had happened on Saturday, so Brittany went to the trouble of having a second day of festivities and none of the complaining parents children bothered to come. heh. That’ll teach her. She said “Damn” in the car on our way to get her her feel better ice cream. That’s how pissed she was.

We came back to Pat’s house cause he had to mow the lawn. We were intending to watch the 4400 which Brittany already liked and Pat and I had caught up on recently via downloading. We instead went to see Bewitched with Brittany’s parents. I thought the movie was pretty entertaining. I laughed quite a bit. I dunno why really thinking back. *shrug* The movie has two commentators from the Daily Show in it though, so you should really see it just to support their careers. The witch struck me as cute, which is weird since that word is usually not in my mental vocabulary. Reminded me of 8. Gosh. *blush* I’m so emotional and honest, must be sleep deprived.

Brittany went home with her parents and Pat and I put in Precinct 13 or something. Pat passed out like 30 minutes in and since then the disc has stopped reading and I haven’t bothered fixing it. *shrug* So I dunno if it’s any good or not.

Mom picked up 2 more Ender’s books for me. I haven’t read hardly any though, since my day has been so active as you have all patiently read. If the rush of blogging keeps me awake though I have something to read. 🙂

That’s the one mentioned slightly a few posts ago with a friend that had the unfortunate accident with drain cleaner. Well, I think he’s gone off to DC to work in someone’s office. He hasn’t been around so I dunno more about his friend Steve, and he owes Pat $20 bucks, and he stole Pat’s KotOR play disk. Maybe that’s why he hasn’t been around I guess. Oh well, he comes back in like a month I think.

I got invited to a BBQ at some guys house. Free food.
