My family is out watching my kindergarten and 1st and 2nd grade teacher’s daughter get married. I declined to go, being lazy and a person who doesn’t like weddings. 😛 Oh well.

I have spent the time since I’ve been awake fiddling with port forwarding. I’ve somehow managed to make it so I can no longer access my router settings, so if any of you technically inclined readers would like to help me out, feel free to msg me on any of my IM’s (AIM – greons2, MSN – etrequelsgod@hotmail.com, ICQ – 176590088) or e-mail (erosebe@linfield.edu) me or something. I’ll spare everyone the details on all the stuff I’ve be fiddling. At least I still have functioning internet, I broke that for a while. 😛

Today is Emi’s last day apparently. Nobody really tells me anything. But she’s going to that wedding regardless. By last day I mean she’s going home, not we’re eating her or anything. So that’s sorta weird, since she’s been sleeping in my room for a year and all. *shrug*

Last night around 3:30, so I guess this morning technically, Pat and I had the pleasure of helping Aaron with some car trouble. His car has been broken for a couple of days, so he was borrowing his grandfather’s car, but it too broke down in the middle of town. Well, actually, it just didn’t start after he parked it once. He apparently is home alone so he need Pat. We only put gas in the car an it miraculously started. *shrug* I’m not a car person, but I figure that since we only put in like 1.5 gallons tops, and the gauge says the tank is a quarter full, that the gauge is wrong, and that the incline that Aaron was parked at somehow made it not get enough gas. 😛 Something stupid anyway. Aaron fed us for our help, so it was all good.

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been posting quite a lot at 8’s encouragement, but she’s not posted hardly anything. I hope I’m not stifling her. Maybe I should stop and let her. She’s a good writer, she could make interesting posts about nothing, and she doesn’t even have to because things happen in her life. 😛 She’s not home today though. I’ll try and get her to post more though.

So my day has been swell. I got woken up by my dear sweet mother and forced into the car to get a Hep B shot. While I was filling out the forms and such, I noticed that my last vaccination, for meningitis, I received on 8-8-83. This is pretty interesting since I wasn’t conceived at the time, and I’m pretty sure the meningicoccal wasn’t developed either. Apparently they had the right date in the computer though. 😛

Also of note was the chihuahua some lady took into the back room w/ her friend and 3 kids. Crazy people need to quit having babies.

Further interest is my sister. She went in before me and got both Hep B and the new improved meningicoccal which wasn’t around back in 83 when I got mine. 😛 When she got out she was at the check out counter place waiting for them to make her pay or something and she sorta passed out. Mom was telling her to sit down but apparently Martha didn’t have the cognitive abilities to comply. Mom was already heading over there so she managed to sorta half catch her so she didn’t knock her head on anything. She bruised her hand on a chair or something though. It was all very exciting. When I got done w/ my vaccination she was still being attended. 😛 Our theory for why it happened is that she gave blood yesterday, so her already low blood pressure was even lower. *shrug* Mom drove home, although I’m not sure if unconscious Martha is less safe than Mom normally.

Since then I’ve eaten a bunch and watched this. It’s filled w/ foul language, but other than that I thought it was pretty entertaining. I wouldn’t wait for it if you have anything slower than DSL though. It’s 1 hour and 15 minutes long about, so the download would be excruciating. It’s not illegal to download it though, so 8 won’t worry. 🙂 The music in it is really good, imho.

I’m also putting up that Loony Toon episode I mentioned before. Mostly for mom, but everyone should watch it. It probably was illegal, but it’s old, might be public domain by now. 😛

I finished Children of the Mind so theoretically I have finished the Ender Saga. There are 3 shadows books though that I intend to read. Like side stories of major characters. Weee. Good books. I’ve been reading a lot lately, dunno what’s up with that. He mentions Ancient of Days by Michael Bishop in his afterwards which I think I might have to read. He says that he read it while he had a contract to write a book, but Bishops telling perfectly said what he had meant to say in his book (altho the plots were very different) that he had nothing to add and had to cancel his contract. Plus it’s about ancient people surviving to modern times, which is spiffy. Anyone read it? I’ll not get around to it for a while. 4 or 5 more Ender books, then a history book 8 wants me to read, and then maybe I’ll read it. I might put it off though. 😛 I’m such a slow reader. 😛

In a little bit I’m off to go eat dinner out. My family is going out to eat for some reason I know not. We’re going to a Korean place, which is fine. I dun particularly like most Asian foods, excluding curry and some Thai stuff, but I have liked this spicy chicken thing they have there, and I’m contemplating expanding my horizons. 😛 My sister made this chicken and pea and bell pepper thing that was pretty good a couple nights ago. I didn’t expect to like it, so now I’m all in an experimental mood. How juvenile am I?

Ramble Ramble Ramble. W/ capitals! Maybe I’ll read the history of Okinawa too. We have the book already. 😛

Maybe it’s because I’m sleep deprived but I feel like doing a little complaint about something. That is the mail. At school we have our addresses and mailboxes and the post office is all like separate from the school kinda, but in the summer they’ll forward to our summer houses if we want. Well, this year they apparently outsourced the post office or something right before the end of the year so there is controversy and chaos. Anyway, they give us these nice simple forwarding address things that we fill out. I filled mine out at the post office the day I got it (they put it in our mailbox). I know I did it, I remember. Anyway, about 2 weeks ago I got an e-mail from someone at the school saying that they had mail for me and they didn’t have anywhere to forward it to. so :P. They also said that if I just waited a while they’d send it to the mailing address from which the money came, so I took the lazy way and decided to wait. Well, I still haven’t gotten any mail. Maybe my lack of sleep is distorting my passage of time, but I’m expecting mail, and I’d better get it soon. 😛 My mail is always so fun, jury summons and free coupons for stuff I fill out on the internet, I think I have a letter from my grandma in there though. Takes me long enough to write her back w/o this delay. Anyway, grr and hope I get mail soon etc. etc.

Also, I accidentally downloaded Leftfields album or something. They’re techno-ee, but not like trace/dance techno. More sorta easy listening techno. I’m liking it.

Hmm… spell check isn’t working. Oh well, I’ve forgotten so many posts now that I’m sure ur all used to it. 😛

Went to see Batman today with Donny. I liked it. I won’t give a review, cause I’m not in the mood and there are like a billion on the internet already.

I got my mom to find my missing console stuff, so I can use my GameCube and PS2 again. Yay!

Dun have much planned for the rest of the day. I might have to take a nap though, didn’t sleep very long. 🙂 Summer’s hard.

Contemplating buying WoW. I’ve got enough other things to do though, I think I might have convinced myself to kick the MMO habit for a while. I dunno though. 😛 I do like to level. I’d definately play if 8 wanted to, but she’s busy. Poor 8. 🙁

There’s this Loony Toons Episode that I’ve been looking for for 4 years or so. I have it. 🙂 It’s sweet. I like to singa. I’ll put it up here if anyone wants. I also got other good ones, like the singing frog thing, and the “kill the wabbit” one. 🙂 I’m stuck at Pat’s. I haven’t eaten in like 21 hours. 😛
