I’m done with schooling for a year again. Now I sit at home and do roughly what I want for 3 months. crazy huh. I got all caught up on my web comix so maybe I’ll start reading somew new ones. I think I’ll probably read some actual books first though. Sorry about the lack of paragraphs, my enter key doesn’t work. K doesn’t work so well either. Tomorrow I get to walk through the wheat fields and try to find rye. I’m sure it will be loads of fun. Going to give blood sometime soon too. 8 is going home today later. She is very sick though. 🙁 Everyone make her feel better. I’ll update more when I have something to say and a functioning keyboard maybe. I have to send Milo into the shop. 😛

All done with my last final. Now all I have to do is clean. Yuck. Maybe I’ll just let my mom handle that. 🙂 All things went pretty accoording to plan I think, test wise for those curious.

I’m done with chem! I passed and all that jazz and everything. Hurray! Two finals left, and they should both be easy. 🙂

I have taken the time to rank the web comix I am familiar with, so that those of you who are not reading what you should be, will know where to begin. The list includes all comics I’m currently reading, but none of the one’s I intend to read. If eventually I acquire new information, I’ll update this, in theory. All the comic links over to the right are here, except Dino Comics, I haven’t gotten to that one yet. If you disagree with me, that’s fine. If you dunno what to read though you might take one of my suggestions.

I hope you all appreciate this. I mean, for a guy that has a hard time deciding if he’s hungry or not, this was a lot of work.

1. Something Positive (awesome, really funny)
2. Sam and Fuzzy (very funny, has a Dogbert/Ger character)
3. Penny Arcade (A favorite, funny, mostly about gaming and the industry)
4. Rehabilitating Mr. Wiggles (rude and crude, but very funny if you like that)
5. Ctrl+Alt+Del (mostly about games again, I think it’s funny)
6. White Ninja (random but undeniably entertaining)
7. Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (No longer dead as of update #2. The random humor is delightful)
8. Orneryboy (cool art, little story, funny jokes. Also, he’ll e-mail updates to you if you sign up. Updates about once a week)
9. Boy On A Stick and Slither (short and funny, different type of funny than most comics)
10. The Order of the Stick (highly D&D related humor, updated twice a week)
11. Little Gamers (another about games, duh, pretty funny, sometimes is lacking imho)
12. Elftor (crude, immature humor but great, unfortunately the link has been down for several days as of this post, and I’m pretty sure the author has given up new work. Still, I check every day)
13. Mac Hall (very good art, updates infrequently but usually pretty funny)
14. PvP (constant update, good characters, funny, about gamers/nerds)
15. Punks and Nerds (Fairly crude humor, although I admit I find it fairly entertaining. Short so far, updates twice a week, good art, small story)
16. Clan BOB (Story driven, good art, some humor at least at the beginning, interesting characters, updated rarely at least recently)
17. GPF (constant update, good characters, funny, but not as funny as PvP, about nerds)
18. 8-bit Theater (sprites of course, pretty funny normally, especially the old ones)
19. Toothpaste for Dinner (random, I like it)
20. Sinfest (Weird little comic, updates all the time, pretty funny sometimes)
21. A Modest Destiny (constant updates, pretty funny)
22. Foxtrot (not technically a “web comic” but still, it’s on the web, and it’s funny)
23. WIGU (weird, I like it though)
24. Zits (pretty funny, but you could read the newspaper if you prefer)
25. Natalie Dee (random, author is the sister of the Toothpaste for Dinner author, many similarities are evident)
26. Sluggy Freelance (long, constant updates, story mostly, some funny jokes now and then)
27. RPG World (mocks classic RPG’s, funny that way, updates are fairly infrequent though)
28. Daily Suppository (think it’s done, but I still thought it was worth reading back in the day)
29. A Distant Faith (off shoot of the finished comic Demonology 101 which is a story and art driven comic. It’s finished, and it’s pretty good. I recommend both.)
30. Elsie Hooper (story driven, relatively short, entertaining though. About man in a town being attacked by aliens.)
31. Niego (Relatively few as of 3-’05, updates twice a week, can have it e-mailed to you, decent art, pretty funny, little story. Might become even funnier in the future.)
32. Megatokyo (story driven, some funny, really popular. About two Americans working in Japan to make money to go home, and a bunch of random other stuff.)
33. FLEM! (rants from a politically minded guy, kinda dead now.)
34. Two Lumps (by FLEM! guy, about two cats, really different from FLEM!)
35. Stupid Trek (made by friend, Ben Cowin, and based on stories written by him with contribution by my other friend, Aaron Nelson. It’s pretty funny to me, but I know who all the characters are based on irl. Since most people reading this don’t, I put it lower down. I appear in it… I’m the one with the huge cowlick. Many of the Stupid Trek original stories are available at the site as well.)
36. Bob and George (sprites, endless, kinda plot driven, lots of lame jokes)
37. Midnight Macabre (done my the Something Positive guy. Only 3 comics in so far so I put it way down here. I expect good things though.)
38. Purple Pussy! (horrible, total potty humor, don’t read it)
39. Cyberbooty (similar to Purple Pussy!, but less and it might be dead)

I also receive Garfield and Dilbert via e-mail daily. If you want that just give me your e-mail and I’ll hook u up, or search and find it yourself. The Garfield one started coming to me as spam, so it can’t be that hard.

So there you have it. Read them all and you’ll be as cool as me. That’s a lot of links, if some of them don’t work, please just comment or search and figure it out yourself. I also welcome suggestions of other comics to read, although I already have a list. 😛

(Edit #2: It appears that Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (SMBC) is updating again and it is hilarious. Having remembered this I have raised it’s ranking from #11 to #7. I have also added a permant link on the right margin with all the other comic links. They are one panel randomly funny no story comics, so there’s really no excuse not to read them.)

He just hawked a loogie onto the carpet in the hallway, like a foot from my door. He was with his girlfriend too. I guess my girlfriend lets me belch loudly. *shakes head*

I tried to give blood yesterday. Apparently I gave blood too recently though. I waited in line for like 1.5 hours or so before they told me that though. I got some homework done though, so it’s not a total loss. I can’t remember giving blood in March, but whatever.

Dim, 8,and I watched The Last Minute earlier. I thought it was fairly decent. I’ve seen way to many movies where I get lots of reminders that drugs are bad though. It’s put together in odd sorts of ways, and the ending is pretty ambiguous. Watch it if you want.

8 had a couple of hometown friends visit today. They’re college’s are out already. I went to dinner with them and then let them do their girly stuff. Thai food is still good. Her friends seemed to like me ok, but they don’t know me very well. 😛 I could learn them a thing or two.

I worked on my presentation that’s due on Thursday. Got a meeting with my group tomorrow. I think I figured out that I haven’t had a group project in college yet. I think that’s odd. It’s like all that happens in high school. Mostly I think it’s because I’m in the sciences. If I was in business or something I suppose teamwork would be more of a central issue. 😛

John’s having an after party type thing for Scapino. I never got to see it. He won’t be back for a while… he’ll probably wake me up and ruin the rest of my school year. Oh well, let’s just get it over with then.

In a sort of related note, I heard of a sleep lab I could join up for. They pay about $6,200 if you stay in a room for 32 days and do all the stuff they tell you. They’re trying to figure out how hormones are effected by sleep patterns and light and dark cycles and such. I bet I could get a lot of reading done. 🙂

We watched Believer a couple days ago. You should google it or something. It’s about a jew neo-nazi. Pretty interesting I suppose. Kinda lame ending though.

Today we went to the real Taste of Morocco. It was very delicious. We went to Marrakesh in Portland, so if you’re in the neighborhood you can try it out. $17.50 for pretty much everything on the menu. 5 courses of deliciousness. Eat with your fingers, belly dancers, handwashing, rose water… good stuff. I walked away with like 6 honey cakes because everyone else was too full. 8 8 a hare. hehehe, 8 8. 🙂

The school year refuses to end. It refuses even t let up. It just seems to go on forever with more and more work piling up. Oh well, it’ll have to come to a close soon, even if I don’t get any points.

I finished the pygmie book I was reading for my religion class. I thought it was pretty interesting. It’s called the Forest People if anyone is interested. Written a while ago, 1961 orignally publish date I think. Facebook has been very fun. Kait and I have each started our own groups on their, and I’m a very active poster in many other groups. It’s very fun. My philosophy professor is the only faculty member and activily particpates in a philosophy group he set up and which I am read. It’s cool. I agree with him that we should try to get more professors involved. I’m going to try to get the mycology professor to join and head up the mycology group I made, and get the chemistry professors on and in the 2 chemistry groups already formed. Speaking of chemistry I was totally pwned this morning by the organic chem test of evilness. You wouldn’t believe how much nitrogen was on it. I hate nitrogen, as I am now fondly quoted so often. Other than that everything is swell.
