I think it’s funny
Because now that I’ve seen it, I have to share it with everyone. I think Mike showed it to 8 who showed it to me. To give credit where credit is due.
I’ve almost made it to Spring Break… looking at 11 hours here. Whoo! Also… woot is selling a watch that records barometric pressure, if anyone’s interested. 😛
Theory
People who work with and understand primarily physically classified and defined things (primarily scientists) are weird. They are not all weird, they are on average more weird than an “average” person because they are less capable of relating to the logic that is used by more “average” people in the creation of other abstract ideas. “Average” people use examples and describe things in ways that the odd ones do not relate to well. Thus, those “odd” ones gravitate to ideas and professions that focus on concrete rational (experiments) which can be understood in themselves, and require no intermediate “average” person. no?
man I’m tired
according to my calculations… I won’t reach 150 pushups a day for another 225 days. I think that’s what I calculated… I’m a little tired now. That seems off. Naw… no it doesn’t.
John’s not here… I’m going to sleep anyway.
Sleep should be spelled slepe.
Test today, test tomorrow.
Mom’s coming to get me. Yay! Dimitri is going to come live with me too. Gah… going to sleep now. Must wake up and do work soon. 😛
mostly for the gamers
This is an interesting recent development in the gaming community. I’m hoping this way of making games is explored. I think highly structured games will have their place, but with new technology this type of game becomes increasingly appealing.
It was posted by Keston first, on the site he and some of his friends run.

I’m in the chem lab
Technically I’m in the IR room waiting for my little power pieces to become a transparent disk. I didn’t know this computer had internet. 😛
I’ve been in class or studying all day. It’s pretty lame. Although I’m making progress. I acquired two tickets to see the Nobel prize guy I mentioned earlier. I didn’t know we needed them, but I found out and got some. They’re free… so that’s cool.
A couple days ago a guy that lives down the hall from me had about .5 inches of his index finger cut off when someone closed a door he was next too. He was drunk at the time so he claims not to remember the trip to the hospital. Someone found it and they sewed it back on. He says he woke up the next day covered in blood and was very confused.
The weather turned ugly randomly. We had pretty much a good week and now it’s all grey and rainy. 🙁 Might as well be though, I have to study for the next two days anyway.
Only thing I’m going to do besides study for the rest of the day is go see an author speak. He’s reading some of his book and stuff. I can’t even remember his name. *shrug* I’ll write more about him if he’s interesting. I hope it’s a him… I’m pretty sure it’s a him.
Ok, that disk thing should be done now.
Faucets
It seems that the temperature of the water that comes out of the faucets in the bathroom here has no relation to the direction in which the faucet nobby things are pointed.
