I’m very busy for the next couple days, so I’ll either work so efficiently that I’ll have plenty of time to keep you all updated on my progress, or I’ll not be able to do any posting until Friday. So far things have been the former so I thought I’d relay the following things.

I don’t know proper Bible siting technique… but I still thought that was an intersting one. I looked in 8’s bible, and it says “six hundred and three score plus six” which works out to be the same. So that’s weird.

I’d like to thank my computer for telling me that it’s too cold to go outside w/o a sweatshirt on in the mornings… even though it looks really warm and sunny. My computer is very smart. Saved me for discomfort.

Bad luck continues to flow our way regarding Sakura Con… I’ll leave it to 8 to post details… so you’ll probably never hear more about the subject. 😛

If we play D&D on Thursday as planned my schedule has me booked from 9am – midnight with 1 hour and 45 of free time in between. That’s in the form of a 45 minute section and a 1 hour section btw. I have a test the day after too. 😛 At least 2 of those booked hours are for studing for said test.

Made aspirin in lab today. Did really well. I sorta did it twice, and then mixed it together… so I made an aspirin tablet about 3 inches in diameter and 3/4 inch thick. I got good yield. 🙂 I have to go back in tomorrow to finish up the finer points though, which I don’t want to do. 😛 I gots to study for my micro test which is on thursday… not friday… they’re two different tests. 😛

Ok, no more prattling I don’t think. I’m forgetting some of my deeper insights, but that’s ok. I’m going to finish my chem homework and go to a play and then read something… philosophy or micro and then sleep. Maybe I’ll cut out the sleeping. 🙂

Get to rest after this week though… that’ll be nice. I’ll have something new to post maybe.

Went to class… read the bible, went to meeting about Sakura Con, went to dinner, read the bible some more, read philosophy… gah… stupid life and it’s work.

Internet is being so slow it won’t let me do the work I was planning on doing currently. So I’ll do a different variety of work until 11… that’s when the Daily Show is on. 🙂

I’m too tired to write more right now. So sleepy.

I haven’t updated in a while. That’s because I’ve been trying to spend my weekend doing work and play in an efficient manner. I’ve succeeded moderately. I read some philosophy, but I still have much to read, and I have nearly finished my chem lab write up. I would have liked to do more, but the play I’ve been doing has been pretty good.

Yesterday I went to an orchestra concert w/ 8, Dim and Keston. At the concert we decided that we would start a new D&D campaign, one in which Keston DM’s, because he was bored with the old one he was DMing. So we went home and made characters. We decided after about 2 hours of descussion to roll stats the old fashioned way and not do point buy or the like. As a consequence we have some neat characters and some neat quirks for roll playing. It forced Dimitri to play a fighter type, which is cool since he doesn’t play that often. I am a high charisma party leader type, which is not me normally either. So we’ll see how things work out. The campaign is set in Eberron for anyone who knows/cares. The players thus far are me, 8, Dim, John, and Ody. Mike left for the weekend so he knows not of this stuff.

Yesterday after food and some work I went to see a free showing of “Meet the Fockers” w/ 8, Keston, Dimitri, and Ody. It was fairly entertaining. Then we played our new campaign. The first session was nearlly all role playing, with only one combat roll (in which dimitri’s character one hit killed our enemy). It went fairly well I think.

Today I skipped brunch because there is going to be a hall BBQ soon. Hopefully the food can substitute for Dillian… otherwise that’s just sad. I will finish the final touches on my lab write up… and read some more philosophy, maybe some micro… who knows. Maybe we’ll even play some more D&D, although it’s always less likely on Sunday for some reason. 😛

Oh yeah, and with regards to my interview… I dunno. The interview itself was odd in that he didn’t really ask me any questions. He mostly just talked… I tried to interject some things that would make me look good, although I’m not well versed at such things… so I dunno how successful I was. He told me that currently they can only take 15 people and that they have 21 applicants. Apparently they are supposed to pick 15 for sures, and then rank the other 6 on a waiting list. They are going to try to convince the people with the money to bump up the class size to 18 at least, and they’re fairly confident they can do that. I heard from Kait who heard from another girl signed up for the trip that they only asked for interviews from 18 people. So if that’s true the worst I can be is 3rd on the waiting list if they don’t increase the class size. *shrug* I don’t feel as confident about getting to go as I did before the interview. Not anything I can do about it now though, so I’m not going to bother worrying. Going to my other choices would be fine, too. I probably won’t know anything very conclusively until the first week of April he said.

On Securacon, it’s currently looking like we won’t go at all. Apparently Tristan, our esteemed leader, failed to secure any funds and neglected to tell us. Phillup, who was going to be our place to stay, decided not to go and neglected to tell us. So currently we are w/o money or a place to stay… we have another idea for how to get some money besides asking the school… but the setbacks are kinda big. *shrug* I’m sure we could overcome if we really tried… we’ll see if we really try.

Ok, if you’ve read that I think you know everything that I would tell you if I was talking to you in person for a long, long period of time. Oh, except that Pat’s on spring break the week before me, and is therefore stupid. I’d say that too. 😛

I have to go to my Jan Term interview in 45 minutes. I’m not feeling any pressure, because I feel I’m basically guaranteed to get in. I still wish I didn’t have to go to the interview though, I’d like to nap. I guess 8 isn’t leaving this weekend as she was planning, so that’s cool, although it might decrease my resolve to get work done. *shrug* might not though. Also, I looked for the LAN poster I saw earlier… and it’s gone… so I dunno if there is a lan or what. I know there is a speaker or a concert or something I’m going to go to tonight though… as long as I figure out what it is and don’t get distracted by D&D or something. 😛

Oh yeah, and I have been trying to post on other peoples blogs, but it keeps saying the blog doesn’t exist? I dunno why, but if I’m not the only one I guess it will be hard for one of you to post and tell me. 😛

I’m at O’riely’s and had to wait about 20 minutes for this page to load. 😛

Umm… ok, since I last updated I’ve been to 3 free lectures. Uh… the first one was a guy who’s a prospective new president for the school. He’s like a politician/lawyer thing. He sounded pretty good in his speach, but I’m not going to make any decisions. I have two reasons for this: 1) I have to sway over the decision 2) it’s his job to sound good when publicly speaking. 8 asked a professor what he though about the guy, and apparently the faculty man thinks he’s under qualified. *shrug* I’ll update and say if he get’s the job. 😛

Then I went home and didn’t do any homework because I forgot to. It didn’t matter though because I didn’t have anything due. My early class, Approaches to Religion, was cancelled randomly. He didn’t tell us though, so I woke up and checked my e-mail… at least I didn’t show up and have to waste so much time. Anyway, after class I went a did a really short microbio lab. And then I did my ochem prelab cause I can, and then I went to a random bonus chem/physics lecture from some guy from U of O. It was neato… kinda simple… I understood pretty much everything about the chem… and most of the physics stuff. It was about organic semi-conduction and stuff. Pretty much no application for that stuff yet though I guess. Also, the speaker was wearing identical pants to my lab pants. They are green corduroy, I got mine at Good Will.

We’re leaving now… so I’ll have to continue the post later.

Ok, continueing my post in the comfort of my own room. I just finished my bible reading assignment. On a side note, 8 doesn’t like me taking philosophy/religion classes… she says I say annoying things… specifically about Buddhism. Wish is odd coming from her… doesn’t she have like 25 UQ (UQ = Ultimate Questions for you non-Linfield people) credits? I suppose most of them are more political in nature. 😛

Ok, umm… the third speaker was a historian. He was speaking about the religion of England during Elizebethian times, and how it was odd they didn’t have a civil war. It was pretty good. Also, a guy sitting in front of us was wearing my lab pants again.

I’m going to not type any more for now… I’m thinking I have a lot of reading to do in the future… so I’m going to try to stop indulging my tendancy to watch myself type so much for now. 😛

Well, not literally in me. In my life. I got an 86.5% on that ochem test I was talking about. Better than average. I made a few pretty lame mistakes, which I always do. 😛 It would have been nice to have done better and cushioned more, but I’ll take it anyway. 😛 Better than I thought I’d get after all.

I got my whole, “you’re taking too many credits” problem taken care of. The guy said he wouldn’t sign it again if I dropped credits after the deadline or something… I dunno what that means. How can you drop credits after the deadline… isn’t that the point of a deadline? Whatever.

I also just received an e-mail from the internship people that said they’d get an answer to me by the 28th. So that’s that.

I have to go in to lab sometime and finish my horrible experiment from yesterday. At least I’ll have plenty of error to talk about in my write up. 😛 I think I’ll go in today at 2 (there is a normal lab session then so I know I’ll be able to get into the lab). Hopefully it won’t take too long.

I talked w/ my Philosophy professor a little after class today, as is common with people in the class before me. (He teaches the same class twice, back to back.) I asked a question he apparently thought was good or something and wanted to have deep philosophical discussion and stuff. It’s funny too cause John and I were just talking yesterday about how it’s odd that he hasn’t discovered who I am yet. John and he used to talk about me last year and the professor told John to tell me that he wanted to talk to me sometime. Anyway, the professor knows my name now, so he’ll just have to put 2 and 2 together. We’ll see if does. His eyes were really bloodshot… on a note I’m sure says nothing about “philosophers”.

8’s mad at me cause she’s getting in trouble for that 2nd Wild Arms 3 I bought on her account. She’s getting a strike against her or something. It’s not her fault though. Frankly, she has a right to be upset with me. My actions are causing her trouble, but there’s nothing I can do to alleviate the situation. I would help if I could. I think she could do some things to make the situation better, it’s just sad that she has to put in the labor. I hope she gets time and gets the situation straightened out. You all should encourage her to not hold a grudge against me.

Sorry for the multi-updates lately if anyone has cared. The internet around here has been weird. Hopefully it’ll be back to normal soon.

Holy crap dude! 21 years max? You get that possession in Texas. Norway is awesome… when I live there I will steal randomly, score a 55 on my IQ test, and if I ever slip up and commit a major felony, I’ll probably only be in jail for a month or so. 😛

So my knife bent when we were cutting up a coconut a couple nights ago, (we = xiv) so I was looking into the warrenty on it. They say if I detect any defect within 25 years they’ll fix it, but I have to ship it to them. I found out though that where they are is Portland. So maybe I can just drop off my knife on the way home for spring break or something.

I hooked up Milo. They didn’t even wipe him and he seems to be working alright. I haven’t hooked him to the internet yet though. I’ll do that sometime when I can have two computer’s hooked up at the same time. I’m not looking forward to the task of transfering all the new stuff over to old Milo w/o missing anything important. *shrug* better than ochem prolly tho. 😛

Worst lab ever. It was going to be the best lab ever too, until Dr. Wolcott forgot to tell me not to follow the procedure, he was too busy helping the two girls doing my experiment. I know that girls are not as good at science… but they really only need like 60% of the attention. Anyway, I spent the whole 3 hours getting a measly yield and I didn’t even have time to IR it or anything. 😛 I’m gonna go in and see what they have to say tomorrow. I’ll have to borrow results or something probably.

Went to dinner. It was ok. No one but 8 and I was there. I dunno where they all were. chem tutor in a few. 😛 Lame having no free time.
