Today so far I’ve been busy. I think I’m going to wind down though. Had lab. Did chem homework. umm… yeah. 8 found me the rom I was looking for yesterday. so yay for her. I think she’s feeling better. The internet sux0rs here… so I’m not going to do the bio homework early like I was contemplating. 😛 Blame the slow internet for my failings.

Aerunet: News That link goes to Keston’s (the dancin man) and some of his other friends’ site. It’s pretty to look at, but not tons of content yet. Who knows though, maybe they’ll turn it into something. At least you can listen to their taste in music.

I forgot to mention the indina food. 8 and I went on a “Taste of India” which means we pay $2 and they take us to a restaurant and give us a lot of food. It’s a good deal. I definately did not like the Indian food as much as the hungarian. The pompadoms were good, and the desert. I liked the rest of the stuff ok, just wasn’t great.

Umm… we saw a magician guy. His show is based on ESP principals or something, that’s what he said. He’s an entertainer and is therefore licensened to enhance his performance with psycology and slight of hand and such… so I think that just means he doesn’t have any ESP, he just wishes he did. I’m a skeptic. He did do some pretty neato stuff, and if nothing else he was funny. Auditorium was packed… we had to sit on the stairs. Hasn’t been like that for anything else I’ve been to.

I think two of my mushrooms are lost forever to contamination… which leaves me w/ only 7 samples. Sad day. I dunno how it happened, been really careful. If Murphy hadn’t disposed of my back up tubes… *shakes fist* I should write him an e-mail abou that, I was going to tell him but he was missing.

John possed the question of what I’m doing for living next year… so I suppose I should think about that. I’m going to have to talk it over with my parents though, because if I move off the meal plan… then I’ll starve without some help from them. 😛 *shrug* No real leanings on the subject yet.

8 is sick. It’s sad.

Things to do in the future. Read chemistry and do problems in reading. Update reaction sheets. Read microbiology. Read philosophy. Do chemistry prelab… almost forgot the most important one. Also gotta go check the mail make sure Milo isn’t here or something.

long time no drivel about what’s up with me. I did some homework. Yay! Kait’s sick… so I probably will be soon. 😛 Umm… what else? no word on Milo. 8’s all into the cosplay, she’s working on getting us approved as a school activity to go to a convention. I hope we get mucho funds… o… cause I don’t want to front the cost. I do think it would be very fun. Oh, I bot (actually 8 bot it for me) Wild Arms 3 on ebay. I’m hoping to get the other 2 soon, and play them like mad over summer. I love the first one. so many rpg’s to play. Anyway, I’m clearly too tired to type anything coherent. Maybe later.

Yesterday was filled with activity. I would have updated earlier to tell you about it but I never had time. 8 says she updated earlier… but as you can see it’s not there. We all mourn the loss. Anyway, yesterday.

Up at 9:30. No religion cause the professor is gone. ochem discussion… I think I’m doing ok so far this semester. I finished that homework the day before… luckily… or yesterday woulda been hellish. Anyway, then I went to microbiology class. Typical. Then I had about 1 hour of free time which I spent returning home, getting micro lab stuff, checking and responding to e-mail (most of which was school related), and took off again. Micro lab was typical of a first lab, safety and such. Looked at some bacteria… and did some t streaks. Gotta go back in and check on them sometime. No problem for me tho, I’m there all the time anyway. Lab was over earlier than I anticipated, so I went and checked on my fungi (down the hall) and found one was contaminated! I fixed that, and then I talked to Dr. Murphy and got some fresh agar tubes. I made back ups of my precious spores again, and convinced Murphy that he loved me and should write nice letters of recommendation for me. His family is sick apparently. So he didn’t go to the thing I went to, which was a lecture on nanotechnology. Specifically it was on techniques for measuring the size of nanoparticles in a sample. Interesting stuff. It was given by a guy appling for a an open position in the physics department. There are 2 more to come. I might be able to attend, so I’ll let you all know. 😉 Apparently, nanotech is going to help (is helping) cure cancer, so u should care. Then I went home, got Kait, and we went to dinner. Then we got dim and went to a presentation/lecture thing on interracial families and such. It was given by this journalist that did a documentary a while ago. Pretty straight forward, not bad. Then there was an LRPC meeting of interest. We did things, and thot of things. Hopefully we’re going to use school funds to go to Sakura Con. Then I returned home and finished my essay for the application to go abroad next jan term, as mentioned earlier. It’s pretty good. Then I updated this and now I’m going to watch the Daily Show. Yay! Then sleep.

Also, a note I’ve been meaning to mention but haven’t is that I’m walking more than previously recorded. I believe this makes sense because I”m going to more classes and activities and such. But… I thought you all should know, just in case you were wondering. 😛 Still not topping 20k mom.

Well, I’ve gone and requested to go abroad next January. 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice. The first one will be especially cool if I get it because it will be Mozart’s 250th b-day while we’re over there. Plus there’s all the other cool stuff associated with going over to Europe, same as all of these. The second choice is bio, that’s what it’s got going for it over the others… as bio I think it’s cool. The 3rd one was my favorite at the beginning of the week, but the prof runing it said we might not be able to see very many plays, which is pretty much what I wanted to do most… but it would still be a good trip, so it’s still on the list.

I don’t anticipate not getting my first choice, what with the glowing letters of recommendation I’m sure to get… but I’d be happy with either of the back ups too. So all is well. I hope they have a bunch of cool ones next year too.

8 hasn’t picked yet. I’m sure once she does she’ll continue to leave you all in the dark. 😛
