London plus update

Well, I’ve got 10 pages on my paper. If you include my works cited pages, and the page that only has two lines of text on it. So I’m not done… but I’m getting pretty close. I’m sorta thinking I’ll post it up here when it’s done… just for fun.

Spring break has been grand. I’ve been doing plenty of reading and writing for this paper, which is detracting from the fun some I’ll admit, but I am getting 10 hours of sleep a night. I also watched the first season of House. House is not really a good show but my sister likes it so we own the first season, and it’s the only thing I haven’t watched in the house pretty much. The show is very formulaic, and often quite contrived. The main character, House, is cool though. In the season finale House’s long time ex-girlfriend thing says in reference to House, “The great thing about you is that you always think you’re right. The intolerable thing about you is that you so often are.” 😀 Made me think of myself.

There’s an 11% chance of Pat this weekend. As such I’m not that worried about getting my paper done today. I’ll likely not have much distraction tomorrow.

I was in the local paper the day I got home for the break. I was doing the crossword for a half hour before I noticed my name eight inches up. Didn’t say anything special, just that I went to London and such.

And Then There Were 2

Pretty much everyone is gone today. Those of us who didn’’t abandon London this day went to church at St. Paul‘’s Cathedral. It was swell. Boys choir and all this time. I enjoyed the echo created by the dome quite a lot. Most of the service was spent standing.

Due to ““tube” problems Dr. Ericksen and consequentially I, did not go to whatever garden it was. Further, the play Dinah was planning to see closed today, so it was sold out. These others went to see STOMP, but I, having already seen it, determined to make my own way, after lunch anyway.

My own way turned out to lead back to the British Museum where I tried to see a lot in a little time, so I could say I had at least glanced at everything in the place. I was partially successful, but I ran into a tour and followed it. Regardless I don’’t think I would have been able to make that claim. I’’ve now been there about 9 hours.

My journal seems to be getting a little worse for wear. It’s holding up well for how much I cart I about. Speaking of journals, a compilation of all our journals should be made and read chronologically. That would be interesting. You should organize that Dr.

I’m in the Phoenix pub alone. 2 dinners for me. The ““football” players are good.

I’’m getting close to finished w/ my Celtic Tales book. They’re fun. There are a lot more guys here than girls.
