April 2nd – Avitok and Fenris awoke and ate breakfast at the inn.  The ogled the serving wenches sizable breasts.  Then they were asked by the owner to get rid of a guy that was asking people weird questions and loitering behind the bar.  They went back to find a halfling that was selling drakeleaf, but did not convince him to leave.  Instead they headed into town to mingle with the people and see what information they could gather.  They learned that wolf attacks were bad lately, and the full moon was in two days.  They also learned that the king, King Dynas of Arilar, was ill and had no heir, and consequently the tyrant to the south, Bernal, was amassing a army.  Or so the rumors were.  They also heard news of the vandalization of Odoul’s house and the theft of two of his horses.  Mishra and Gerald were awoken when the militia came to collect them.  With them was Odoul.  Fenris and Avitok returned to the inn to see Mishra and Gerald being lead away by the militia.  Gerald accused Odoul of organizing a gang to run he and Mishra out of town and of possessing drakeleaf.  The captain of the militia decided to have all three arrested and to search the Odoul house and then have things sorted out.  Fenris and Avitok accompanied the captain to Odoul’s residence.  There they found his wife, smelling of drakeleaf, and a small bag of drakeleaf in their bedroom.  Odoul’s wife was arrested and a further search was ordered of the Odoul house.  Mishra revealed to Fenris and Avitok that they had found a secret basement with a much larger stash of drakeleaf than was recovered.  Fenris approached Odoul and suggested that he drop the charges, or the authorities would certainly find his secret stash.  Odoul agreed to drop any charges.  Avitok went to Odoul’s house and made sure none of the militia men found the secret basement.  With Mishra and Fenris free, they all returned to the inn for dinner.  There Fenris declared that he would fight for the down against the wolves and requested the help of anyone willing.  Those willing included only his friends and a halforc, Horace Baloo, that had arrived in town earlier in the day.
April 3rd – Fenris, Avitok, Gerald, and Horace go to the jail and approach the captain of the militia, having learned that the militia has refused to fight for the town after the high casualty rate of previous months.  The captain tells them that he will fight with them, but that he will not order the men (because they would not listen to him) to fight.  He says however that if they wish they can try to convince the militia themselves, and that they will all be at the jail at 6 o’clock.  The hero’s spent the day devising a plan to protect the town from the reportedly organized werewolf attacks.  When the militia is gathered, Fenris makes a speech, hoping to rally the men to his cause.  They are initially reluctant, but upon hearing the plan, they agree to help.  Avitok and Fenris then leave to the mayors to ask or his support and the use of his house.  Horace and Baloo head to the blacksmith and alchemist’s shops to enlist their needed services.  Everyone cooperates and the blacksmith and alchemist work all night and all day the next day to make the silvered weapons necessary to defend the town.
April 4th – The day is spent preparing for the night.  All of the citizens are convinced to move into the mayor’s house before dark, except a few hardheads.  Traps are set at the three entrances into the mayor’s house, and the militia is posted.  Four militia guard the mayor’s house, six are posted on rooftops around the town center.  Fenris, Avitok, Gerald, Horace, and the captain of the militia stay on the ground at the town center, hoping to bait the wolves to them and away from the mayor’s house.  As night fell, Gerald used his psychic abilities to foretell that most of the wolves would come from the south.   Avitok cast a light spell on his weapon, and everyone readied for the attack.  Shortly after darkness fell, howls could be heard throughout the woods, after a short while they fell silent.  After about 30 minutes of waiting, Horace saw the wolves coming.  There were seven wolves and four dire rats, all of them charging through town, coming straight for them, and heading from the south.  The militia on the roofs fired arrows furiously, and one wolf was dropped before reaching the heroes.  As the battle raged, all of the heroes suffered wounds.  Fenris and Horace were attacked most heavily and required healing from Avitok.  Everyone was standing at the end of the battle however, except for the weremonsters.  As they fell, the wolves turned to goblins and the rats to humans.  Only 25 gold pieces were found on their persons, and that was split, 20 to the heroes, and 5 for the militia.  The militia and the hero’s then went to the mayor’s house to see if everyone was still safe.  The militia men guarding the house reported that one wolf had attacked, but had been easily dispatched.  Believing the threat to be over everyone left the mayor’s house and went to their own beds.  The hero’s followed the innkeeper and went to bed to rest and heal their wounds.

Other than doing that I’ve been playing some video games and watching stand up I’ve been downloading. I’m enjoying faster internet and free time much.
