I tried to update before but it didn’t work. I don’t remember what exactly was in the update, but it wasn’t too important. I’ll try to recapture everything in this update. More has happened though, so some things might slip my mind.
Umm… I’m going to do this sort of stream of consciousness I guess.
I didn’t get accepted to the Jan Term thing, and I didn’t get into my 2nd or 3rd choice either because they were full. That last part sorta surprised me… but I’m pretty much over it. 8 called it way back when sorta. I’ll blame her negative energy.
There are only 6 open ones, and I don’t think I want to do any of them. So screw music, and screw diversifying. Just goes to show you that you should only stick to one subject, because as soon as you try to move into someone else’s territory they will slap you down, and you won’t be accepted back where you were. 😛
Umm… I’m pretty much done with my microbio bibliography thing. A day early too. I slept for a couple hours cause I was really tired… but I woke up cause it was sweltering and then I worked fast and finished it. It’s just a first draft, so I’ll probably have plenty of correcting and such to do later, but that’s ok.
Our neighbors got new speakers that they’ve been trying to break ever since as far as I can tell. I downloaded some white supremacist music (in celebration of diversity week) that I’m thinking of playing for them. 😛
Tomorrow is busy with extracurriculars. The Nobel laureate guy is talking, and I’m thinking of going to see a Chinese Tea Ceremony. I guess it’s supposed to be deep and meaningful or something. I might also go to a talk about China because baklava will be served. I haven’t figured out the connection… but free baklava is worth checking out. I might be swapped with real homework though, so we’ll see.
Also, I’d like to say that slow internet sucks. If you have fast internet, please never complain to me about anything ever. I will do the same when my internet is fast. Then, all we need is fast internet, and the world will be 100 times better. Hurray!
Clearly, I should sleep again. I will soon I think. I still have some residual energy that I will try to spend at least semi-constructively. I have had some time to play around a bit since coming back to school. 8 playing some DKJB which was entertaining to watch. It’s good to watch the player when you can’t see the screen. John and Keston have yet to play. I’ve given up on Dimitri since he had most of break as opportunity and didn’t take it. 😛
