So I just got back from the dentist. They put two fillings in. Let me tell you my impressions and observations.
First of all, I’ve been numbed before for my wisdom teeth, so that’s no big deal. The first new thing was they did this thing w/ hooks on my teeth and a rubber type sheet. They stretched it across my mouth and made me feel like Predator. The female dental assistant had a pink surgical mask and the male dentist had a blue one. My shirt color was the same as the little bib thing they give you. What would happen if I had sneezed? It seems probable that someone will sometime. There are odd smells, and particulate matter floating in the nasal region. I should have asked them. I could sometimes see a little of what was going on by looking at the reflection in the dentists name tag. Apparently I’ll be over the chewing pain in a couple days, and the sensitivity eventually. My next appointment is on Thursday.
