I cut the skin off a frog a couple days ago. Just so I could see how it works. Bwahaha. Don’t worry, I cut his head off first… or her, who cares?
First computer science workshop was tonight. I took apart a computer and put it back together again successfully. And I did it with two people with heavy accents. It was made in 1997, so it didn’t matter if I messed up.
I saw fuzzy d20 dice in a mirror on campus. It was sweet. I would have taken a picture but I was busy carrying my new computer back to my dorm. I didn’t get the monitor today cause I couldn’t get back to the mail place before it closed. I had to go get my picture taken at Walgreens so I could get an international student ID so I can go to England in January. I asked someone and they said it wasn’t necessary, but then I went to turn in the forms today and they said I had to. There were 5 students in line… nobody knew. Stupid college. They whined like 3 months ago about photocopies of our passports, why didn’t they mention this?
8 is reading for pleasure. She shouldn’t have time for that.
Anyway, tomorrow I will have my monitor and I can start filling that computer with games and trying to break it. Thanks dad.
This is not my computer. This is a picture of our living room. “Our” being Keston’s, John’s, and mine. We had this problem. We wanted to see Advent Children (the Final Fantacy 7 movie that was released in Japan) but it isn’t released in the US yet, and it won’t be for months. So we downloaded it w/ subtitles done by fans in a day. 🙂 Then we hooked up Keston’s computer to the TV. You can see his CPU, his 7 point surround sound, our 2 PS2’s, our DDR Pads, Donkey Kongo Drums, and boxes of our games, plus my external hard drive and laptop there. Ooo, and cookies. It’s pretty awesome living room. I didn’t actually watch the movie, I’m going to watch it when I can w/ 8. 🙂
Watched 2 Daria episodes. I love that show. 8’s doing pre-sleep yoga. 😀
Oh yeah, and any of you people know the evolutionary causes of the inability of humans (and a bunch of other animals) to be incapable of synthesizing all the necessary components for their lives? I need to find out by the 27th, and I’m not supposed to ask the prof unless I have to. If you know any evolutionists and such, send them my way. 🙂 I have some theories, but they need to be confirmed/denied eventually anyway, and I’d prefer before the test. Maybe I’ll write them up on the school blog, it hasn’t been seeing much love lately. I hate that phrase.
Oh yeah again. I missed 3 points on my first physics homework assignedment, out of 49. All 3 of them were for not showing my work when determining the ratio of one second to one second. /foreslap I think in this situation WTF is appropriate. This is college right? I’m in the major’s class. Whatever.
