Home Again
We made the long “coach” ride back to London today. I got a lot of reading done. Actually did some pleasure reading which is rare of late. Anyway, we made it.
The only thing I did in London of note today is visit Hyde Park. We, Mike, Dinah (spelling confirmed) and Lorel, walked through much of it in an attempt to see the Peter Pan statue. Mike and I made the trip sans coats and our antics in attempting to keep warm made the walking fairly entertaining. We did find the statue, and some all you can eat pizza place, which will probably be visited again.
I have been enjoying the Johnson reading. One of the words in the selected Dictionary part is booby, which is quite coincidental because I looked it up at his house. I’m afraid I’m quite ahead in the reading. I’ll not remember what the essays were about when we actually discuss them. I’ll review I guess.
Dunno what I’m going to do tomorrow. Might head to the Sherlock place and/or look for a gift for my sister, or go to the British Museum again. *shrug*
