I’ve spent all day doing homework pretty much. I didn’t wake up until like 2 though. And did spend about an hour at Wildstock (that’s like a little fair w/ bands my college does). I got free food.
Yesterday I didn’t do any homework. We had a bit of a gathering in honor of Keston’s b-day. It wasn’t a party because about half of the people we know are in or working tech for MacBeth, which means they’re in the theater all night every night for the two weeks. It was ok though, cause with the number of people we had we could play board games and such. Played some Hecatomb too. I got totally clobbered in Puerto Rico. That was swell.
I played some d20 Modern DMed by John. It was fun. I don’t know the system, so I just made a character on the fly, with very little planning, and worse stats than everyone, but it worked out ok. The play was quite exciting… role playing modern is easier. The plan is to play again tomorrow, which is why I need to do all my homework today. 😛
I have a test on Monday which is what most of this homework is about. Cognitive Neuroscience. The topic’s we’re covering are not really my test forte. I think it’s because they’re complicated, and consequentially we (the human race) don’t really know anything about them. So even though we don’t know anything I’m supposed to remember all the stuff various people think might be true. I have a hard time forcing myself to remember conjectures, and then all the reasons for and against each conjecture. 😛 I’ll be fine though, it could be much worse… could be philosophy. 😛
8’s in the theater… she’s one of those Macbeth workers I was talking about. So not only do I have time to study, I have time to update the blog.
Some of my friends are already on Summer Break. They are lucky. I have two full weeks of classes left and then finals. In those two weeks I have two tests and a paper. I think I have both the test and the paper due this upcoming Friday. Weeee. And then all those cumulative finals I love so much. 😛
